Activities in Antequera, Spain

Antequera is a medieval market town known as the heart of Andalucia because of it’s central location between Malaga, Granada, Sevilla and Cordoba. The town has excellent motorway access and is approximately 45 minutes from Malaga airport and Granada airport and about 5 minutes from the new Antequera airport which is due to be completed in the next few years. It is a 1 hour drive to the cities of Sevilla and Granada and 45 minutes from all the attractions of the Costa Del Sol.

Antequera is set in the middle of an agricultural plain, surrounded by mountains, the most famous of which is the Indians Head or Lovers Leap or locally known as “Geronimo”. There are the remains of a Moorish castle overlooking Antequera and there are some stunning views from the castle walls.

Just a few miles outside of Antequera is the El Torcal National Park which is full of stunning limestone rock sculptures, a definite must see.

Activities to choose from

The following activities can be included into the Fully Inclusive Supported Holiday (FISH) package, unless marked with a green star, which will be at an additional cost. As there are so many activities available to you, it would not be possible in one week to fit them all in. Simply choose a dozen favourites and we can put an itinerary together for you.

Some of our guests prefer us to compile a rough timetable of activities, others like to choose when they are here. Both options are fine but some activities will need to be booked in advance.
